Types

Power-Ups are premium features designed to boost the visibility of a given ad. Each type of Power-Up enhances visibility in its own unique way.

Bump

When you first post an ad, it sits at the top of the search results. As thousands of other people post their items, your ad gets pushed down where fewer buyers see it.

Purchasing a Bump instantly moves your listing back to the very top of the relevant category search results, as if it were a brand-new ad.

Pole-Position

Just like in Formula 1 - where the driver in "pole position" starts at the very front of the grid - purchasing Pole-Position ensures your ad is placed at the very top of the search results.

While a standard bump moves your ad to the top temporarily until new ads push it down, a Pole-Position slot is a fixed, premium placement.

Note

Each Power-Up is a separate product, so it's possible to use multiple of them on the same ad.

Prerequisite

For an ad to be eligible for a Power-Up, it must be in one of the following statuses:

Type	Allowed statuses
Pole-Position	PUBLISHED
Bump	PUBLISHED, EXPIRED

Cool Down

A Cool Down is a built-in restriction period that prevents users from immediately buying another Power-Up for the same ad.

If you purchase a visibility Power-Up, you cannot buy another one the next minute or even the next day. You must wait until the cool down period expires.

Each Power-Up has its unique Cool Down period.
